Monnom: Magic Garden & Digital Storytelling Workshop

Bridging physical and digital worlds at the Children and Youth Art Biennial, this workshop invites children (ages 4–8) to create a "Magic Garden" through movement and imagination. By transforming their illustrations into interactive digital landscapes, participants explore creative storytelling through spatial interaction. A unique blend of nature-inspired art and technology-based play.

Monnom: Magic Garden & Digital Storytelling Workshop

Our workshop for children aged 4–8 at the Children and Youth Art Biennial invites participants on an artistic journey through a magical garden, bridging the physical and digital worlds through movement and spatial interaction.

We began our workshop by dreaming of a garden—imagining its trees, colors, scents, textures, and the sky. 🌳

Next, we examined the garden we built together by illustrating individual elements from our shared imagination. Through our movements, we transformed into trees, flowers, buds, clouds, and rain, bringing our illustrated garden to life.

Finally, we took a brief stroll through this "Magic Garden." ☁️

It was a truly precious experience for us to witness the children’s imaginative worlds and observe their creative production processes as we moved together in both physical and digital landscapes. ☀️

A heartfelt thank you to all our participants! 🌿
